Centiro is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to operate within our Global Sales unit. The SAM will be responsible for identifying customer success area’s and developing revenue opportunities within the Centiro existing account portfolio. This position may be located in Barcelona, Brussels, or in our Global Hub in Borås.

Focus will be on 4 key areas:

Identify – research target accounts, relevant executives, key contacts, partners, and opportunity areas.

Provoke – develop and utilize messaging that is both provocative and relevant to prospect.

Nurture – prospect and engage across multiple contacts and levels in the target organization.

Engage – align with prospect objectives and acknowledgement to a sequence of next steps driving and closing business with Centiro.

Preferably the SAM has large enterprise B2B Account Strategic Selling- and Project Management experience, with a concentration in global supply chain, e-commerce, logistics management software and technology services. We look for a team player with a can-do attitude and understands that there is “no I in Team”.

What you will do

  • Identify new business in existing accounts. Develop and expand the actual offering to grow with your account and support them in their growth.
  • Identify, develop opportunities within named account portfolio (Pipeline to Quota).
  • Determine client needs through consultative approach and accurately recommend and propose the most appropriate solution.
  • Position value propositions and demonstrate product knowledge through client sales presentations.
  • Complete and submit projections, objectives/goals and sales reports by assigned deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems through completing daily activities, creating, maintaining sales opportunities, and providing detailed notes.
  • Attend and represent Centiro at relevant networking events and conferences.
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends and competition.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing products.
  • Regular travel.


Who you are

You have cross-functional experience in one or more of our main target industries; e-Commerce, Retail, Logistics and Manufacturing. You are outgoing and have easy ways to build a network both internally and externally. Having experience of, and are, creative, analytical and data driven, which will help you gain and discover insights that inspire clients to act.

You have a solid Account Management/Sales background and natural passion for supply chain, business development, logistics, IT, and cloud-based technology. Since we have customers across the globe, international experience is much preferred. You will work close to our current and potential customers to identify and propose opportunities to grow the business and deliver it.

  • Passion for new business development– Think outside the box, think further then our existing solutions, support creation of new added value solutions/Features.
  • Experience in positioning/selling cloud-based enterprise technology.
  • Proven annual sales quote attainment, and over-achievement, track record.
  • Understanding and experience with competitive supply chain solutions.
  • High comfort level, situational fluency, and senior presence with senior customer executives across procurement, logistics, IT, materials, and finance.
  • Postgraduate Degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is a minimum.
  • Interest and passion for Data Analytics and AI.
  • Highly motivated, independent, always exuding a high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent skills in English and Spanish/French or Dutch, verbal and written. Other languages, such as German, is meritorious.
