Centiro’s Software Developers create the next generation technologies for Centiro’s Supply Chain Network Cloud, crucial in the world of digital trade and e-commerce. As a Data Engineer in our platform team your everyday work will be to develop our internal data science and machine learning platform based on Google Cloud Platform.

You will work in a team together with Software Developers and Application Specialists. Our teams consist of individuals with varied skills who solves the complete assignment, from analysis, design and development to test and integration. 

Work with the Data Science team to understand and operationalize data pipelines that can perform at scale and are resilient.

Collaborate with teams to develop and improve the current data architecture, data quality, monitoring, and processing schemes.

You will develop, form and support our platform and architecture based on GCP enabling our data science initiatives within logistics and transport management.

Keep up to date with advancements in big data/cloud technologies and leveraging the initiatives to improve and scale existing data architectures supporting supply chain solutions.

Support big data / AI solutions to meet business needs across Centiro's organization and help integrate them into production workflows.

Who you are

You should be an expert in Google Cloud Platform and will be able to come in and be the GCP Subject Matter Expert. You are a team player who understands the importance of cooperation and helping each other. A collaborative mindset and attitude are more important than prestige and personal priorities. With all tasks, everyone is equal in helping each other succeed.

Must Haves

5 plus years of experience

Hands on experience with GCP and strong understanding of GCP capabilities and limitations

Good understanding of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Projects, Networks

Hands on with Google Kubernetes Engine

Hands on automating infrastructure on Google Cloud with Terraform

Knowledge of monitoring and logging

Experience with managing Identity and with Access Management

Should have knowledge of GCP Services for Compute Engine

Knowledge of Storage and Database Services

Experience in GCP Managed Services like BigQuery, Dataflow

Should have set up and configured a Cloud Environment in Google Cloud

Experience in taking machine learning solutions to production

MLOps/ Software Engineering for Machine Learning are an added bonus
