Technical support engineer

 With our rapid expansion, we are looking for Technical support role. You will primarily work on the front lines of the process that ensures deliveries to customers and work closely with incidents on day to day basis. We’re looking for a person who enjoys developing customer contacts and solving problems at a pace that varies, but is sometimes very high – a climate you find exhilarating that inspires you to better and better performance.  You will be part of an autonomous team handling Incident management, troubleshooting, fixing the problems and much more. 

 Job responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Delivery team to resolve issues when necessary
  • Resolving high priority issues raised by customers.
  • Working proactively to provide permanent solution to production issues. 
  • Documenting the troubleshooting and analysis done for incident handling. 
  • Participation in root cause analysis discussion whenever required. 
  • Participation in providing training to other colleagues and customers as required
Pre-requisite:
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Technical support area. 
  • Expert in SQL queries and database analysis. 
  • Knowledge about Windows OS and Windows Server
  • Knowledge about FTP, VPN and similar techniques
  • Ability to acquire and apply troubleshooting information
  • Experience with Case/incident Management Systems
  • Written and verbal skills.
  • Experience of working with IT Application support environment
Bonus:
  • Knowledge about ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
  • Basic knowledge about programming languages and development processes (.NET, C#)
  • Prior experience/awareness about logistics and supply chain domain 

As an individual, you are enterprising, open and a good listener, and have good skills in both outward and in-house communication.  We also believe that you are flexible in the working process to be able to quickly switch to higher priority tasks.
